Description

This physics problem is an interesting practice problem in kinematics about acceleration and deceleration applied to car collisions. The problem is the following: A medical doctor testified in court that someone experiencing a sudden acceleration or deceleration of 50 times (or more) Earth's gravity may suffer serious neck problems. If a car travels at 112.6 km/h (70 miles/h), in what stopping distance during a crash will a passenger reach the critical point of getting hurt, assuming a constant deceleration?
