Use this activity as a great inquiry introduction to Ecology. Students work in groups to analyze photos and data about Yellowstone and the detrimental effects of eradicating the wolves. Like real scientists, students will piece together information to figure out what the problem is and propose solutions. Set up as a series of 4 stations students rotate throughout the class period, always keeping them engaged. This lesson will get your students buying into ecology and will act as a springboard into all your other lessons.
