Product Description
Before students can be problem solvers or great copers, they need to understand the difference between problems inside their control and problems outside of their control. This product is two sets of sorting cards for practicing distinguishing between these "pipe cleaner" or “play-doh” problems and "rock" problems. They work great in whole group lessons, small group sessions, or individual counseling.

The first set is 24 cards representing problems Alexander faces in the book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. The second set are 24 other common problems (or concepts - like "My Actions") for school age children.

Resource includes written lesson plan aligned to ASCA mindsets & behaviors and CASEL competencies.
