This multi-day, multi-layered research project is a gret undertaking for students after the AP Exam.
Students will research a product and synthesize basic information about it. Then, students will complete an image analysis and analysis of two advertisements. Students will then have an opportunity to create their own ad to a targeted audience and justify their use of appeals.
The last two elements of the project include writing a sales pitch that is for the product, and writing a letter to the editor to explain why the product is bad for consumers, the economy, or the environemt.
