Included is practice and an assessment over product of powers, quotient of powers, and negative and zero exponents.

The practice includes two different worksheets. One practice worksheet has 15 questions and includes very basic practice. The other practice worksheet has 21 questions, and the problems are a bit more challenging. This is great for differentiation inside the classroom for struggling learners.

There are 3 different versions of the assessment. Each assessment is 5 questions. Two of the assessments have very basic questions, and the third assessment is much more challenging. There are two assessments on one page, which saves you paper and time spent in front of the copy machine! Students could complete this assessment as a warm-up/bellringer when entering the classroom, as an exit slip, homework, or as a super quick formative assessment. I have also used these assessments to help group students for differentiation purposes. Answer keys are included.
