I created this activity to help my struggling students grasp the concept of factoring quadratics in the form ax^2 + bx + c, with a=1. By placing this important concept in the form of a puzzle activity, students learn a concept without feeling like they're learning anything. I will be posting a follow up worksheet, "Product/Sum Puzzles Revisited," by 2/10/16. This worksheet will connect this activity to the actual process of factoring quadratics. Thanks in advance for your support.
