Product Description
End of the year assessments can be tricky, especially for a course as hands-on as Theater Tech. You don't want to give the kids a pencil and paper test that doesn't really demonstrate their skills. My response to this challenge was to create a flexible production design project in which students design a show and can choose to specialize in the areas that interest them most,

The Production Design Binder Project is an A La Carte assessment with scalable grading and a fully-editable document set. Simply [Make a Copy] of the documents for your own Google Drive and edit at will. This project can be used as a digital project, a printable project, or a hybrid of the two.

The base project asks students to choose 200 points worth of activities, requiring a minimum of one activity from each category of technical theater. Each of the 19 activity choices comes with a rubric.

THIS PRODUCT REQUIRES A GOOGLE DRIVE ACCOUNT. DIGITAL ASSIGNMENTS ARE INTENDED FOR USE WITH GOOGLE SCHOOLS.

The Drive Includes:
A Teacher Instruction Guide with directions for copying, editing, and assigning this project
➪ A Digital Production Book that students can use to organize an attractive production binder
➪ Artifact Guides with I CAN learning targets, tips, and requirements for each artifact
➪ Assignment Sheets with point values for both digital and paper production books
➪ 19 Rubrics to correspond to the 19 artifact choices.
