PPT in PDF format for professions and occupations in Spanish. I have students copy the vocabulary in their Spanish notebooks. I walk around to ensure they have their notes and they get a Spanish sticker on the front cover of their notebook. I actually place the stickers on the notebook and try to shape it as a happy face. After the year is completed, the happy face on their notebook should also be completed.
Afterwards we practice pronouncing each word (choral activity). As a fun activity I have students play "¿Quién soy? A student stands in front of the class and acts out the professional person. Students guess what professional person he/she is. Then the person who guessed correctly, will come to the front of the class and act out another profession.
Before the other student sits down, she/he writes the profession on the board. This activity gives the students the opportunity of viewing, listening, speaking and writing the vocabulary in a fun way.
If you have a computer lab or library, you can incorporate technology into your lessons by playing Quizlet or Kahoot:
