This is a sequencing/retelling game using your programmable robots like the Bee-Bot. I used it as a center for my students after reading Jan Brett's, "The Mitten", to them. (The book and robot are not included in this product.).
This file includes 15cm by 15cm Mitten themed Mat Cards. There are game directions and variations to use with your own programmable robots.
If you want to use these with your Bee-Bots, you will need the two transparent grids that come in their Starter Kit. One place to get this is kaplanco.com .
My elementary students LOVED the first basic themed games I made for our Bee Bot Center, so I decided to branch out and make a harder game.
In this game, they work together to sequence the events in the story and program the robot to pass through those events as they retell the story to each other.
I've found that printing the mat cards on regular paper to put under the mat is best. But, the Honeycomb Point cards are easier to handle if printed on cardstock. The point cards will last MUCH longer if you are able to laminate them.
This product includes:
1. Game Materials
2. Game Directions (with Easy, Intermediate, and Advanced game options).
3. "The Mitten" themed mat cards to place under your transparent grid
4. Honeycomb Point cards
