Here is a game to use with your programmable robots! I use this Three Little Pigs Game as a Makerspace Center with my K-2 students to learn how to code. We use the Bee-Bot (TM) Programmable Floor Robots with the two transparent grids that come in the Bee-Bot Starter Kit. But, you can modify this game to meet the needs of your programmable robot.
My Kinder, 1st and 2nd graders have LOVED these in our new Coding Center!
This simple game version is played in a series of rounds with two players. The goal of the game is to program the Wolf Bee-Bot so that it lands on the house the student identifies and "blows it down". When the wolf lands on each house, the player earns Honeycomb Point Cards.
An advanced version uses the brick wall cards which are obstacles that the students must program their bots to avoid when programming their sequence!
The player with the most Honeycomb Points at the end wins the game.
I've found that printing the mat cards on regular paper to put under the mat is best. But, the Honeycomb Point cards are easier to handle if printed on cardstock.
This product includes:
1. Game Directions
2. Three Little Pigs themed mat cards to place under your transparent grid
3. Wolf clip art to cut and tape to the Bee-Bot
4. Brick Wall mat cards to place under your transparent grid
5. Honeycomb Point cards
