This progress monitoring sheet is helpful in early childhood classrooms. I created this sheet to help organize and monitor growth in the following areas; uppercase letters, lowercase letters, letter sounds, counting, numeral recognition to 20, shapes, colors, print awareness, book appreciation, and self awareness. If you are teaching prek or kindergarten this is a great sheet for you! The file includes one sheet you can use to share with parents in a nightly folder. The second sheet (Exact copy) can be placed in the students folder at school. This is an easy visual to see where each of your students are at. I check boxes in orange in the fall, blue in the winter, and green in the spring. This lets me see what they knew in the beginning and what they have learned over the school year. Parents also love seeing this in their nightly folder. This is an easy way to share what skills need practice between the home and school. Teachers, this is also a great artifact to share with your principal to show student growth. Also, great for conferences!!
