Topics Covered: Colors, Shapes, Number/Counting, Greater Than/Less Than/Equal To, Time, Money, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication

These checklists allow any adult working in your classroom to quickly see where each student is in a given topic and where they should go.

These sheets follow a logical continuum for teaching a topic. They also reflect Common Core Curriculum Standards across grades in each given topic. Each begins at the bases of the topic and progresses into more challenging skills.

These are especially helpful in a special education classroom. They monitor progress and allow aides to see where the student is at and what step they should work towards next.

*These checklists are meant to mark off when the student is able to independently complete a task, this means without adult prompting.
*They would be a great addition to other types of data taken on tasks, especially ones for IEP goals.

Tips for use:

*Put a date on the small line next to the skill, rather than just a check mark.
*Print on colored card stock and keep in student work binders to monitor and check off as they acquire new skills
*Ensure your aides and any other adult who has access to these sheets are only marking the skill off once it is mastered
*Great for assessing students at the beginning of the school year
*During report card time, these can be copied and sent home to give a more accurate account of student progress
*Refer to when writing Individualized Education Plans to quickly and easily access student needs and successes
