Three progress report checklists and letters home for Pre-K and Kindergarten families. In addition there is one blank checklist for sight words so you can write in your own sight words.
I use these checklists to send home to parents about halfway through the year. I want parents to be aware of their students progress, and it is also helpful for showing parents if their child is behind.
I send them home with my own sets of flashcards that go with my district’s curriculum so everything is aligned.
I find that parents are very receptive to the information and I often get notes from parents that they are working on the skills with their children at home.
