1) Media Literacy Project Based Assessment (PBA) is an excellent way to assess your classes understanding of topics review in class in real-life situations. Your students will take on the role of film school students to complete an anti-bullying commercial for teens in middle school and high school. Students will have the opportunity to take on the role in their group as a screenwriter, actor/actress, casting director, film editor, costume designer, or director. Each team member will complete at least two tasks for their role and work as a group to do research on bullying.
2)In this Career PBA, your students will be part of Career Day. They will research the career of their choice, write a speech, create an invitation for their audience, design a PowerPoint slide for the day, and present it all in an oral presentation. If you don't want to use this product as an assessment, you can also use it for PBL (Project Based Learning).
3) School Dance PBL: It's time for your students to get creative and think critically at the same time as they take on the role of an Event Planner in this project based learning assignment! Students will cover skills in writing, math, research, marketing and sales, creative thinking, collaboration, and critical thinking using real-life experiences.
