Resource Description:

Students will choose one upcoming community event to explore in-depth. The idea behind this project is to KNOW the event in and out. They will coordinate with community members to get behind the scenes of a community event and design a final product and authentic presentation to showcase learning.

This project was designed using project-based learning principles - student choice, innovation, relevance to students, and impact on the community. The templates set the stage for the experience, making the process seamless for both students and teachers.

This self-directed, project-based learning experience is Google Apps™ compatible. This resource includes a printable AND digital version.

Note: The PDF is not editable. You could overlay the digital version with text and/or images, and add or remove slides to better fit your needs.

This resource is student-directed. In the project design process, students have the flexibility to add concepts or questions that they would like to explore. If you have specific standards that you would like to cover, ask students to add those benchmarks to their project plan. This resource is more appropriate for older, advanced students. It would make for a great senior project.
