Product Description
This project based learning will allow your students to take their learning into their own hands! This project based learning requires your students to become zoologist and help the local zoo with building a habitat for an animal of their choosing. They will be required to have certain aspects in their habitat to help their animal survive. Students will each research a different animal building a zoo as a class. Students will learn about interdependence through these habitat requirements. Students will also record item analysis for cost of their habitat and calculate total cost. This incorporates multi-digit addition, multiplication, and decimals if wanted. At the end students will write a proposal to the mayor giving their opinion on why the zoo needs their animal and why the habitat will be just right for their animal to survive!
