"This resource was fun, engaging, and can last as long as you need it too! There are so many parts to this that you can do them all or pick and choose. It is also a simple layout that was easy for my 4th graders to follow. I will definitely be doing it again next year! "

Description

All of us have our favorite coffee shop. People go to coffee shops to visit with friends and grab a cup of their favorite coffee drink. Now is your chance for your students to open their very own coffee shop. They have an opportunity to create their own menu and more. Students will learn about the history of coffee, open a shop, and solve different math problems.

"There are some things you need to do so your shop will be a success. It requires you to do some research as you do your planning." These activities can be adapted for your class.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “We worked in this project before Christmas holidays and it was great. We have so much fun imagining our coffees and chocolates!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I'm currently using this as an optional PBL unit for students before we start a whole-class unit. My students have been engaged from start to finish and they are thoroughly enjoying the process. We are taking it one step farther and creating a diorama of what their coffee-shop would look like to present to the class.”

We did this project after finishing up state testing. I loved how flexible it was, but also structured at the same time. The students were engaged and worked well together in groups.
