Product Description
This is a wonderful project based activity to end a graphing unit or to use in conjunction with your unit. I also use this project in conjunction with my Math Vocabulary Posters
.

Here's the 911 on the project.

The children come up with their own survey question, question their classmates, and collect their data. They then use the data they collected to create a picture graph and bar graph.

To create the line graph, they time themselves doing jumping jacks for 1 minute at three different times. They wrote their times on the line graph data recording sheet and use this information to create a line graph.

Once graphs were complete, they analyze their data with a few questions and complete the project with a written reflection.

You can read my blog post about this project in my classroom.

The children love this project!
