This project asks the Driving Question: How should a 21st century high school look and function? The premise for the students is that their district has acquired land for a new high school, and the school board is hearing proposals. Their task is to present their plan for a high school that prepares students for employment and continuing education in a global and digital society. This lesson includes a daily project schedule, teacher instructions, student instructions, and rubrics for both the written proposal and oral presentation. Students additionally write individual reflections.
