Product Description

Project Based Learning is a dynamic classroom approach in which students actively explore real-world situations and ideas to acquire a deeper knowledge.

This PBL was created with 4th Grade Virginia History curriculum in mind but it could work for any grade level above 4th!

Included:

*A motivating driving question relating to Nathan Hale-well known graphic novelist

*student examples

*templates for students

*a list of important Civil War events to choose from

*Anchor chart ideas

This PBL was created to serve as a 'quick' PBL. Teachers run out of time, constantly, and some schools require 4 PBLs per year for each grade level. These quick PBLs can be done in as a little as one afternoon--it can also be extended!

A great way to end your Civil War unit!
