It is exhausting trying to keep up with new math trends, isn't it? How are you supposed to spiral without a textbook or resource that helps you? This year long unit will allow you to do this without any difficulty.
All of the weeks contain an answer page as well as a qr code you can scan to have student mark their own work.
This is an entire year of daily spiral math activities for Ontario grade 4/5 curriculum. Plus this also includes my best seller "Math for the Year." This is full of big-idea math that can be done over weeks and encourages inquiry and understanding. Below are more detailed descriptions of these units:
The questions are designed to review grade 3/4 concepts for the first few weeks. After this students will do one strand of math every day all year. This way students don't forget them from year to year. The questions are short and designed to either be done as homework or a quick activity as students arrive in the morning or after recess. Many of the questions are modelled after EQAO style questions or the curriculum.
All question pages are complete and ready for you to use! All answer pages will have a QR code page that if you like you can allow students to scan and see if they have got the correct answer. This will save you extra time in marking work.
Further, I have included how to schedule this into your math block, as well as a clear outline of what your day will look like while using these. If you want, my spiraled long-range plans are also on teachers pay teachers for free.
