This project is a fun, introductory PBL group activity that highly encourages student voice, teamwork, creativity, and empowers students to be a part of the classroom design process.

Project classroom redesign gets students imagining their dream classroom and allows them to bring some of those ideas to life by redesigning the classroom environment. In this project students will start off with a creative writing prompt to get their ideas going before moving into a group. During the group process, students will share, brainstorm and create a model/layout of the classroom environment they would like to learn in, with of course a success criteria for that model/their plan because teacher knows best;)

Also included is a sample project schedule, editable pages to fit your classroom and project reflection questions as well. My students loved that they got to be a part of the design process and were so excited to see their ideas come to life, hopefully your students will enjoy this just as much!
