Looking for ways to 1.) provide your families with an opportunity to easily help out the classroom from home and 2.) work a bit SMARTER not HARDER as a teacher? Look no further!
The Project Folder is one of my favorite systems in my classroom! I have seven cheapie green folders that I've covered with the letter included in this pack, explaining that inside this folder is a project (like cutting lamination, stapling packets, etc) with which the teacher needs help. It requests the family returns the project back completed within the week. If they can't finish it within the week, no worries! They just send it back so that it can be passed on to the next volunteer.
This pack includes the parent information letter to send home, the coversheet for your folders, and the labels for the folder pockets.
To find out if any family in your classroom would be interested in this form of volunteering, I send home the letter I've included in this pack, explaining the system of the Project Folder and requesting contact info of those interested. I usually have at least five parents interested, which means I have five different resources that will happily help me with projects!
The Project Folder makes for a very happy teacher!
