I created this chart to help students take ownership of projects I’ve assigned for them to work on at home. Occasionally, I’ve had a group of parents who like to “help” too much on projects or a group of students that is particularly “needy,” and this helps the students be more independent.
When I assign an at-home project, I discuss with my students what they should do themselves and what their families can help with. They record these ideas on the Project Responsibility Chart and it's sent home along with the project directions.
There are two versions of this chart - 1 per page and 2 per page.
