This interactive calendar is what we use in my class daily. Page 1 provides review of days of the week, sequence of days, picture patterns, and a morning message that I use to embed spelling words and/or other phonetic patterns. Page 2 is a weather pictograph. Page 3 allows students to practice telling time to the hour and half hour (or further - you can adjust it to your classroom needs). Page 4 uses picture representations of hundreds blocks, tens rods, and ones to show place value. Page 5 brings in some literacy practice - students read a sentence with spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors, then make the appropriate corrections (I change the sentences daily).
