Targets: syntax and morphology. Specifically targeting pronouns (he,she, they, his, hers, theirs, her, his, their), plurals (sheep, chickens and horses etc.), some verbs (drove, harvested, fed etc.) and using all in complete sentences.
Pronoun Review Posters (pages 3-10) Review pronouns: he, she, they, his hers, and theirs.
Possessive Card Sort (pages 11-16) Place his, hers, theirs posters on a table or on an envelope. Have students pick a animal/object card and choose who they would like the animal or object to belong to. Then complete the phrases on the boy and girl cards. (e.g. It is her cow or The cow is hers.).
Sound/Animal Match (pages 17-18) Use the animal cards and sound cards to match the sound to the animal.
Building Sentences Cards (pages 18-19) Build sentences using the pronouns and animals/objects cards (e.g. The _____ [pig] is _____ [hers]. OR ___ [She] has a _____ [pig].)
He, She, & They Cards (pages 21-29) Have the students complete the cloze sentence cards (e.g. __ drove the truck)
Farm Scene (Page 30-31) Use this page to target prepositions, pronouns, vocabulary, and overall fun! Other use as a barrier game! Can also be used a reinforcement, give student animal for each response.
Game Board (page 32) Use as a reinforcer and review.
Other uses: targets plurals farm animal vocabulary, sentence cards target verb endings, What sounds to these animals make?, describing words (a pig=pink, has ears, likes the mud).
