Pronoun Fun with Rangers Rick & Susie
Have fun seeing what Rangers Susie & Rick have found along the way in the woods while checking out the campsites. This activity is great for students who have difficulty with comprehension or grammar who need visual supports. I use this activity with my students on the autism spectrum and have gotten good success with my kids who are not comprehending simple wh-questions.
Directions: Print out the cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. You can affix the ranger pronoun cards to a file folder or cardstock and laminate. Place velcro on the pictures and where the square is on the rangers. Ask the kids questions such as “Who has a blue tent?” You then take the picture off and add a new one to each ranger. They will have the visual to help them answer the question. This activity also works on has/have.
