These cards focus on multiple ways to have kids practice using the personal pronouns he, she and they. In order to provide the student with a variety of question prompts, each picture has three question forms utilizing both WHO and WHAT questions. This allows students to generalize the use of the pronouns and internalize correct pronoun usage.
The cards can be used in a drill format and/or with one of the 3 game boards.
There are 22 she (red) cards, 24 he (blue) cards, 23 they (green) cards, and 4 game boards.
Print the question cards on the back of the matching picture cards. Laminate and cut on the lines on the line.
To use the game format, choose either the he, she or they cards, or combine the pronouns--he and she or he, she and they.
The student chooses a card and answers the question form targeted. If the correct form is used, s/he moves ahead on the game board the number of spaces indicated on the card.
The first person to reach ‘Finish’ is the winner.
