This is a project that I created to help my sixth graders better recognize, understand, and use a variety of pronouns correctly. I used this as my end-of-unit assessment, but it can be used throughout a pronoun unit as formative assessments as well.
For this project, the students pick 5 products/companies to advertise. Then, they create an original slogan or jingle containing a different pronoun type for each product/company. Finally, the students design an advertisement flyer to sell their products or support their companies. I worked with the computer teacher to use this as both Language Arts and technology. She had the students utilize a variety of formats (Word, Publisher, Slides, etc.) to present their information.
