Tired of funny mix ups between cheveux / chevaux?
This is a year long pronunciation helper for students that helps to target and review sounds that are often tricky for FSL and immersion students!
I use this throughout the year in my classroom. Every Monday we start with one or two new 'son(s) de la semaine' which become a focus for the week. While many examples from this list are similar to textbook examples on helpful general sounds to practice when learning French, I have also added actual examples from the classroom that my students often struggle with!
This is a great list which will allow you to pick and choose to create your own bulletin board to better target common pronunciation difficulties that often arise in the FSL/Immersion classroom. Hear the difference - have your students sounding like francophones in no time!
This pdf includes:
-Teacher master list of all sounds/letters/examples included (p.1-2)
-Student log sheet to record the sound of the week/day (p.3-4)
-Headings for bulletin board (p.5-7)
-Sounds/Letters (p.8-40 [There are four sounds/letters per page; this page will need to be cut - see master list of all sons de la semaine for help with organizing/pairing sounds/letters/examples])
