Proofreading or editing posters and bookmarks: A collection of cute posters and a bookmark (in color and B&W) that illustrate the use of the following proofreading/editing symbols: capitalize (and spelling alternative capitalise), spelling, insert, delete, lowercase, new paragraph, insert comma, insert apostrophe, close gap, insert space, insert speech marks (and alternative term ‘quotation marks’), insert period (and full stop alternative), insert question mark, insert exclamation mark, transpose and move text. The posters are great for a learning and teaching tool and as a display, for your students’ referral while working independently along with the bookmark included.
Each poster has a title, short description of that particular proofreading/editing symbol, an example of it in use with the matching symbol/illustration. The preview contains a 1/4 size version of all posters in the resource, so you can see exactly what you're getting before purchase.
The posters in this resource work for multiple levels, as you can decide what you proofreading/editing symbols you want to introduce to your kiddos. However, the bookmarks provided contain all of the symbols covered in the poster set, so they might be more suitable for slightly older learners.
All you need to do is choose what posters/bookmarks you want to print out, trim the bookmarks, laminate and you’re good to go!
Thanks for looking :)
*Technical note: this is a large file. I intentionally did not compress it (it is secured in Adobe Pro to meet clipart TOU), as I want all of my buyers to have the highest quality product possible :) All computers have different specifications… if your computer is a little older or has software issues, it may take longer to load. I recommend having the most recent version of Adobe Reader (click here to download Adobe Reader)
, to use this file to it's fullest. Using an outdated version of Adobe Reader or another PDF viewer/reader may increase loading time and cause issues with saving, viewing and printing.
