Students will work to research and present the different properties of 6 common 3-D shapes: cube, cylinder, rectangular prism, sphere, cone, square pyramid. They are asked to research the faces, edges, and vertices of each and then draw and provide a real world example of each in a format of their choice (book, poster, PowerPoint, etc). Project takes about 2-3 class periods to complete. Grading breakdown included. :) Students love sharing their projects when they are done!
