In this Valentine's Day themed activity, students will practice simplifying properties of Exponents. Students will complete the problem, then match their answer to an answer in the box. The letter of the answer will then go in the box with the problem number. This is a great activity because it is fun for the students to figure out the corny joke and it also gives students immediate feedback on their answer. If they do not find the answer in the answer box, then they know right away they need to go back and check their work and try again.
There are 4 problems on the product property, 4 on the quotient property and 3 on the power property. There are also 8 questions that incorporate all the properties into one problem for a total of 19 problems.
