Students will practice matching 4 different linear equations to their correct graph, x-intercept/zero, slope, and y-intercept. Each linear equation is given in a different form (standard form, point-slope form, slope-intercept form.)
This activity may be completed with and without the QR codes. If used with the QR codes, then the teacher will copy and cut apart the 16 cards containing a QR code. When finished cutting there will be 16 cards with only half of a QR code. When students have sorted their cards, they can scan the QR code that has been formed by matching the cards together. If they match correctly, then the QR code will show a message. If they do not match the correct cards together, the the QR code will not work.
If used without the QR codes, then the teacher will need to copy and cut apart the 16 cards that do not have QR codes. When students have sorted the cards, the teacher can check using the card letter.
This activity works best when students work with partners. It's Math on the Spot!
