Properties of Parallelograms
In this lesson, students will learn the five properties of parallelograms.
• Warm-Up -
The warm-up is a review of polygons vocabulary.
• Guided Notes -
Two versions are included: mostly complete and fill-in-the-blank. The notes are 2 pages long. Examples are included throughout the notes. There is a coordinate geometry example where students will find the intersection of two diagonals.
• Presentation -
A PDF presentation is included to use as in-class student practice. Since it is a PDF, the "slides" could be written on using SMART software (or other similar software). There are 9 questions. The presentation is in the format of Question-Answer-Question-Answer-Etc.
• Homework -
The homework is 2 pages and 16 questions. Some of the questions require students to solve equations. Two of the questions ask students to use coordinate geometry to find the intersection of the diagonals.
• Answer Keys -
Completely worked out answer keys are included.
