This exciting activity has students working in groups to promote a particular polygon they have studied. Students thoroughly enjoy this activity as it is an opportunity to showcase their knowledge of polygons with an added twist of their own creativity. This is a true student-centered learning activity and a wonderful chance to reinforce properties of polygons as it is students teaching each other.
In my experience, this activity can be done over 2 or 3 40-minute classes to allow sufficient time for students to make posters and prepare their presenting.
