Graphs of Quadratics Digital Task Cards with Google® Slides, Paperless and NO Prep for you
In the this fun Teach Interactive™ activity students determine the vertex, axis of symmetry, y - intercepts, x - intercepts, maximums, minimums, concave up or down, and matching a graph of a quadratic to an equation.
The backgrounds of the slides are famous architectural landmarks who shapes are or appear to be parabolic. This activity is appropriate for Algebra 1, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, and College Algebra.
Task Cards really do work!
They get the students engaged and keep them motivated to go through all of the problems, more so than a simple worksheet.
This resource includes 20 digital task cards plus a digital answer sheet. A printable answer sheet is also included should you want a blended activity. Your students can also make notes on the slides and do as many as you assign. As with other traditional task cards, students can work alone or in groups. This activity can also be used for HW or an assessment. As an interesting "extra", the backgrounds of these cards are famous buildings and landmarks with parabolic designs.
Detailed illustrated instructions on accessing and sharing this resource your students are included as well as the link to the product. An answer key is included.
