This foldable covers 9 properties of real numbers. This foldable is the perfect reference for students to keep in their notebooks! This foldable is great for a complete lesson, or for students to fill out as review. In addition to covering the 9 properties, there is an additional flap of the foldable dedicated to asking students to match each of the 9 examples with the correct property.

Teaching Tip: I love to see if students can complete the rest of the property or come up with their own examples. If they can't, no big deal, but it's great to get their minds working. As we go throughout the lesson, this gets easier and easier for them. I typically will come up with the first few examples, but after that I start asking students for help. They can either volunteer numbers or variables to be used in our examples, or they can volunteer an entire example, if they have one. It's so much more fun building examples together. That said, if you'd like to just use the same examples as I do, I've included a full key!
