Product Description
Each year when it's time to teach properties of matter, I pull out this activity to introduce the concept of properties of matter. It's a good hands-on lesson for all types of learners:
• Visual because the students actually "see" the box and its contents.
• Tactile-Kinesthetic because the students hold the box and feel the items inside.
• Auditory because the students can shake the boxes and hear the sounds of the items.
Students make "property boxes" and place item inside for the other students to guess.
Instructions, student take-home letter, and an example are included in this lesson.
