These notes involve solving equations as a launch. Then, they are introduced to three different ways to solve proportions: Cross-Multiplication, Scale Factor and Clearing the Denominator.
Then, students practice setting up and solving proportions given a word problem. After solving, they find the unit rate to practice writing a proportional equation.
