Product Description
This package contains 6 real world problems that represent both proportional and non-proportional relationships. The problems are set up in a Frayer model so that students can build connections between proportional situations and their graphs and tables. After completing the graphs and tables, students will draw a conclusion on whether or not the relationship is proportional and how they know.
The package also includes a problem solving activity where students are prompted to use what they know to explain that although a pattern exists in a table of values the relationship is not proportional because there is not a constant ratio of y to x.
