Proportions: Roll and Review
**This is one of my favorite activities!** More importantly, my students love it too!
Students are to work in pairs, taking turns rolling two dice. The numbers rolled determines which problem the students work on. If a 2 and a 6 is rolled, the first student works on the problem from the 2nd row and 6th column and the second student works on the problem from the 6th row and the 2nd column. The students should get the same answer for both problems. If they do not arrive at the same answer, it becomes their responsibility to go back and find their mistake(s). Students then take turns rolling the dice to complete the board. Students will need a separate piece of paper to show their work. I have students mark off which problems they have completed with a highlighter.
Ideally print on 8.5x11 paper in Landscape.
*Dice not included!
