Product Description
Proportions (Variables on Both Sides) Dice Game

This activity practices solving proportions that will result in distribution and variables on both sides. Students are paired up and assigned half of the board. They roll two dice to see which problems they are solving. For example, if they roll a 1 and a 6, then Partner A does (6,1) and Partner B does (1, 6) on the board. Both students should get the same answer. If not, they work trade papers to see if they can identify the other partner's mistake.

I had them highlight the problems as they went so they knew which ones they had already done. They really enjoyed it because it was different.
