Protein Synthesis is a Biology lesson that integrates a six page illustrated and interactive notebook with a five slide PowerPoint with original animated diagrams and answers. Interactive Notebook

  • Tasks associated with the ‘Thinking & Learning' section of the interactive notebook form the core of the lesson and are fully supported with PowerPoint slides, printable resources and answers. Students work sequentially through various activities that have been designed to help build confidence and knowledge of the topic; always encouraging students to think.

  • Students test their own knowledge by completing a topic focussed quiz.

  • Through ‘Self-Evaluation' students identify their topic strengths and weaknesses.

  • During class time, or alternatively set as an assignment, students write about this topic from different perspectives and reconstruct knowledge by building a ‘Topic-Tree’.
