Protein synthesis simulation that is FUN! Students transcribe DNA samples from the alien species called unigriffins- which are hybrids among birds, lions, and horses and can have a mix of traits from each.
Students are required to transcribe the DNA into mRNA and then translate the codons into specific proteins to figure out which trait each unigriffin DNA sample contains. Once the traits are determined, students will draw the unigriffins as their final masterpiece. See the preview for a more detailed look.
