This project is GREAT to let students differentiate and work at their own level. Best for students at the end of Spanish 2 or at least those who have had exposure to Positive and Negative Commands. You can definitely give them some of the commands they need, but it's great to have them already know how to work with whatever verb they choose.
I did this with my Spanish 1 and Spanish 3 classes, as my Spanish 1 students had (at the end of the year) learned commands. They LOVE it. It takes about a week if they have daily access to a computer. They need to be able to watch the short constantly while creating the voice over. Can be done individually or in groups.
The YouTube links are also included. If you have the PIXAR short collection, that will work well too. (please check the links to ensure they work! They do now, but you never know with YouTube)
