Proyecto de Mis Quehaceres Diarios (6B)
Project about My Daily Chores
Hola! This is one of the projects that I have done with my students that includes speaking, reading, writing, and listening. I originally created my presentations via Google Slides, so some of the slides are Print Screens.
SPEAKING: There is a PowerPoint Presention included that includes what slides I used to practice our daily circling activity.
WRITING: Students will create a PowerPoint or Google Slides presentation (I used Google Slides) that lists 5 of the chores that they do in the week. In this presentation students will be using the present tense, "tengo que ___" phrases, and working with affirmative tu commands.
Students are encouraged to use the sentence frames! Repetition is an awesome learning strategy!
Ex. On Tuesday, I have to mow the lawn. If I don't do it, my mother tells me, "mow the lawn, please!".
LISTENING: The listening piece of this project comes in to play while students are presenting to their classmates. Students need to be listening for key information while their peers present to be able to fill in the information.
READING: Students are also reading their peers' PowerPoint slides for clarification of their understanding when taking notes.
SPEAKING: In the presentation part of this product, there are three options that I do with my students.
1) Students can play the audio piece in front of their classmates.
2) Students can memorize their slides to present to the class.
3) *Differentiation* Students can present their slides to small groups of students in a carousel format.
We recorded our voice using "Screencastify". It's a super App Extension compatible with Google Chrome. Check it out here! -->
Hope you enjoy! My 8th grade students loved it!
Thank you for stopping by!
