Product Description
Contains a PowerPoint presentation covering Sigmund Freud's followers' psychodynamic theory of personality.

The PowerPoint is HIGHLY animated and is designed to capture student attention. Each slide has transitions along with rich, moving media. Additionally, a guided note sheet is included in the zip file to help students follow along with the presentation.

Please note that the fonts "Tommy Hilfiger AF" and "Eras Bk BT" are used in these documents. If your computer does not have these fonts installed, it will automatically replace them with a default font, which will cause it to look different than the screenshots indicated and require you to re-format the slides.

Please also note that this PowerPoint may contain links to outside websites or videos for additional content to expand upon topics. At the time of this posting, all links have been verified and are working, but I cannot predict when web addresses may change or be removed. If you notice a link not working, please let me know and I will rectify it.

Topics covered include:

-- introduction to psychodynamic theory (disagreements with Freud, name change from psychoanalytic, etc.)
-- Neo-Freudians and their beliefs (Carl Jung - collective unconscious/archetypes, Alfred Adler - inferiority complex, Karen Horney - childhood anxiety)
-- Thematic Apperception Test (students look at three pictures and describe ambiguous scenes to "project" their unconscious)
-- Rorshach Inkblot Test (students look at ten inkblots and describe what they see)
-- Projective Test Explanations and Criticisms (TAT, inkblot)
-- Views of the Modern Unconscious (false consensus effect, terror-management theory).

By purchasing this file, you agree not to make it publicly available (on websites, etc.) or to share with any other teachers. It is intended for classroom use only.
