In this lab we collect relationship satisfaction ratings from individuals after they have "anchored" their satisfaction with a task where they either list 3 things they love about their romantic partner or 9 things they love about their partners.
Anchoring would indicate that the people who list 9 things will report that they are most satisfied with their relationships. We will see if we can observe this effect in our population.
This lab is adapted from an experiment proposed in Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good People by Mahzarin R. Banaji & Anthony G. Greenwald.
