This handout prompts students to form groups and create skits after they have been taught the underpinning ideas regarding the major current schools of thought in psychology.
It also contains summaries of the major schools of thought. This can be used as a teaching or re-teaching tool.
Students enjoy this activity and I am so pleasantly surprised by the creativity, application, and higher-level thinking that this simple exercise sparks.
This activity can be easily modified to fill from a few minutes to more than a traditional 40 minute period.
